Help: .system folder problem

Greetings all!
was playing around and took off the dot in front of the .system folder in tf & now... i must say it messed up apps that i installed on it.

Tried adding the dot but was rejected. Im using a mac pc, and accessible to terminal & textedit.
Im all ears ppl. Thanks.

reboot the phone, a new .system folder will be created in the mem card, copy all your system folder folders into the new .system folder. And your in buisness again

aksd, did just that & to find out that all the app icons are gone(only the title) and does nothing when clicked on.

...seems like it doesnt synchronize..with the folders(i dnt know what im saying nw) definitely not for the faint hearted.

hey aksd! i got it! i tried placing the folders QTDownload & Java while the phone is off & everything is back. Appreciate the help so much!! cheerios!!
