rokr rocks but installing applications is a pain

hello everybody, like many other newbies i am confused too about the installation of mpkg files or any modification(except jar files).
i needed to install skin i got from motothemes,then came to know one need a skin installer and to install the skin installer one need mpkg...this all is leading me to a tunnel with no light from the other side..i know these things are firmware dependent, and mine is .08p .i looked in your forums but that is not helping me out.finally i am posting here to seek help directly from u professionals ..so heres my prob- i changed the system hidden folder of mmc with mpkg ,installed skin installer with mpkg and tried to open .pskn with skin installer..as per the information i got from forums and " wolla " nothing happened.
the i replaced the system folder in mmc with smartasst i discovered in the forums and tried to install skin installer and "wolla" again nothing happened thers no skin icon in menu now,so i again tried re-intalling the skin installer but noe i am getting skin installer is already installed do you want to re-intall ..so as you know i reinstalled and again nothing happened..and yes i restarted my phone many times and as directed in the forums .the only thing i can say is HELP ME

yea.. even i wanna ask earkin/bezman, if we can put the themes in the colour scheme part in setup ??

simply go to download section of this forum , download yan0 mpkg . unzip it u will find a .system folder ,
now connect ur ph to pc .
view hidden files .
replace old .system with this new one .
disconnect ur ph from pc , u'll see a mpkg in applications of ur phone .
u r done . ok
install any pkg now simply tap and hold on *.pkg select open with select mpkg .

and yup i m also using .08p firmware . its all fine ..

You don't need to replace .system folder....
