HELP: Help with data connection.

Hi,

I just flashed my phone with DAGr8's firmware, and everything went quite smoothly. But now i am unable to access internet over my phone.

The setup --> Data Network has four unreadable options with the first one saying something like Java. I was previously using Ahman's Hybrid 08 and internet was working straight out of the box. Now the built in browser just keeps saying "Network problem" with a red X mark. Opera mini beta comes back with an "Invalid Licence" board!

I live in India and I have been successfully using Hutch (Vodafone) GPRS for the last few months. Any application trying to access the net would first ask for a permission to do so, and then give me the choice of data operators. Now nothing. I also notice that the icon in the status bar says E all the time denoting EDGE, but I dont have EDGE with Vodafone here.


Any help will be appreciated..

You need to get your Operator GPRS settings and install it manually. When you were using the factory firmware, it had the GPRS setting preloaded, after flashing that has been overwritten, so call up Vodafone/Hutch care and ask them for the setting and goto Data Network, New and enter the settings

Works like a charm.. Still the same problem with Opera Mini Beta, but the built in browser is working..
