Q: Which phone to get? Need some advice

Hey guys I'm new to the forum. I've had a samsung D900 for a few months now and now it's time for a new phone.

I'm planning on buying a new phone this week. I wanted the new RAZR V8 from Tmobile for the longest time but now I'm not really sure about it. I've heard they locked a lot of features on the phone and the price is still pretty high. I was on the motorola forums all day today and I'm really starting to like the ROKR E6 a lot. The price is better and the features seem a lot better too. Just wondering what do you guys think? I know that I'm on the E6 forum so it might be a little bias. If you're not in a hurry I suggest you wait for another month or so, Motorola will be launching the ROKR U9 by the end of next month most probably, and the Z10 anytime December-Jan

Is there anyone who had both those phones that could give me so advice? I found a store near my house that sell the E6 for $285 so I'm thinking about picking it up tomorrow.

The E6 is nice. It's a completely different experience than that of the V8. I played w/ a V9 and it was cool, but the E6 is still my fav. Don't buy the T-Mo version... You can get it online cheaper (in time). But yeah, if you like the interface of the E2/Z6 then you will like the V8, but if you like the EZX series then you'll like the E6.

In terms of modding, the V8 and E6 will be about the same. The V8 (in time) will support multiple fonts, skins, etc. The E6 already does support multi-fonts, skins, other mods as well.
