Changing Category?

So now I've installed a Hell lotta as on the Phone, and some of them only come in the ALL as Category, not the rest...

how do i fix them? (move to other category)?


I'm guessing this will have to do something with CardRegistry.....

One thing I found that I could change the category if the app was listed in any other category other than ALL. eg. if it is listed in Games then I can change it to anything else. usually during installation the app asks where you want to install and that is where I define it. If i want to change later I found that when I 'right click' (hold stylus pressed continuously on the app icon) when in ALL category, the 'Change category' menu is disabled. When listed in some group (say Office) , then the same is enabled and I can change it to any other category.

Some apps are not listed in any category but ALL, which I am not able to change to another category. I'm sure that this can be fixed by some registrycard changes, but I don't know how.

I really want to do this as well, but can find no mention of the category names anywhere in the CramFS CG's....

Hehe, i tired editing the numbers in the card registry file... making guesses... but didn't work

has anyone tried extracting the CG of the langpack, and using a langpack editor (parser and compiler) to edit the entries in that language pack. I used to do this in my e398 to change the name entries of the menu, but im not sure how to do this in motorokr e6
