Name not displayed on the text messages

Hi guys,

I just bought an E6 phone.. and I'm kind of a n00b to it..
I have a little bit of a problem; whenever some1 sends me a text message our service provider adds +506 to the phone number; for example if my number is 1234567 the phone number displayed in the text message will be +5061234567... and it doesn't display the name of the person...
My old phone a MotoRazr V3 used to display the name of the person who sent the message; regardless of the fact that I had the person's phone number stored without the +506 before the number... Now my E6 phone does not display the name of the person but the whole number... so I never know who sent the message... and if I store it with the +506 whenever I get a call it does not display the name neither...
The only solution is to store all mobile numbers twice but I don't think that's a good thing and I'm getting frustrated... I also flashed my cellphone with the hybrid firmware from a guy in the forum.. and it didn't solve it..
Any ideas guys..?

I am not facing any sort of problem that you are describing..
Messages show senders' names alright, even if I didn't save it with the code..
