Flash File: EDGE Without using Radiocomm

Just flash with the file below, it will change your flex and DSP to the flex and DSP used in the edge chinese firmware. The flash files consists of RDL1, RDL3, CG 1 to 7 and Cg18.
The file is to be flashed using RSDLite

The main advantage using this is you'll have edge enabled even after a Master Reset and the phone wont go into an infinite startup-shut down loop.

The main disadvantage is your flex will change to the R535PBP flex in the firmware version menu. You can always relfash back the original flex it is'nt much of a problem. Might be an issue if the phone is going for service, but the service guys hardly check firmware version anyway.

Note: This flash will not overwrite your user settings or data so no need to backup, but a backup is always better if something goes wrong during the flash.

Mirror it how many ever times you like lol, and I did'nt post this on modmymoto mate , its nothing fancy, just removed certain code groups from a flash file so all you'll get is the edge

Can any tell post a detail procedure how 2 do dis i mean do we need to go in MBM flash mode just lyk while flashing firmwire & is dere any chance of brickin da phone! & how 2 get back 2 original flex!

Which software are you using? If the flash file is available on the net we can make it into a flex

Yes to flash you're using RSDLite, but what software do you have on your phone?

Dont worry about flashing this file, 99% nothing wil happen and we can always make a flex from another flash and write over it. Thats why I made the flex, it wont overwrite your present data and a master reset will not destabalise your phone.

Yes, thats what I'm asking. That wont be a problem then, we can get your original flex back beause I have a backup of it.

All you have to do now is turn off your phone. Press the camera key and turn it on, a red screen appears(AP Mode) connect to RSD lite and flash

how much time it takes to flash using this method??
i dint change to flash mode before flashing......i automatically converted to d "flash mode"(red screen wid MBM written on it).
it executed the first few operations pretty fast....then got stuck on "Phone is processing data, please wait..."
What do i do?
