Edge Seem Edit not working on Ahman's Hybrid firmware

Hi,

I just flashed my E6 with Ahman's Hybrid firmware. Everything goes fine. I tried the step by step Seem Edit for Quadband and Edge as described in here:

The Quadband mod is working, but the edge mod does not work. I still get "G" instead of "E". Any idea what's wrong? I am using T-Mobile USA and last time when I am using 06P firmware, I tried Alpha's Quadband and Edge script and the "E" does show up.

Currently the "turning on only when connect" mod is working, since I can see the "G" is usually gray when not using the browser.

Why didn't you just use the script this time? I used the Quadband/Edge script and it's working perfectly for me. I am currently running Ahman's also.

So, is it ok to apply the script again even though I have already done the seem edit for quad band and edge?

Another question, does Ahman's firmware need the automatic network time and voice mail bug script? It looks like the voice mail bug has been fixed in the firmware.

I don't know if applying the script is ok AFTER you've already seem edited, but I just used both the Quadband/EDGE and Network Time/VM scripts when I flashed to this f/w and everything is fine for me.

Thanks for the reply. I found the problem with EDGE. I rechecked all the seems using radiocomm and found for some reason the element at 02AF was not set to the new value. Reset that value makes the EDGE working now.
