Office Editing For ROKR E6 Available ?????

Hey everyone . I went to a shop with my friend who wanted to buy an e6 .
The salesman at the shop said that he cud have office apps loaded onto it for 500 bucks i.e around 12 $ . I also have the ROKR so i asked him about the apps . He refused to give any details but said that u can pay if u r satisfied with the software and when i insisted about some details he said that it is not on JAVA platform .

I know that office is not available for our phones , but shud i go ahead with it ....

We'll its a risk you'll have to take, most probably its a farce with apps being taken off motorolafans and being sold. Ask him for a demo first. If he does'nt oblige, its upto you.

yea seriously...n most probably he'll load miniexcel and tell u to sync outlook with MPT..so much for office

Thanx for the reply guys . The shop owner is saying that you can pay after seeing the demo .
I don't need office anyways , so its my friend who wud be paying for the software .

dude i got an idea if its not the miniexcel or w/e that crap is and it is an actual office program or a diff than buy it and upload it on here for us...ill be your friend

@KingArthur: I would love to have a real office app on this phone, and am willing to compensate your cost, if it is not mini excel or mini word, and also if it is not java.

Well the office app ( word & ppt only) works . he says that he will flash the phone to a f/w other than the factory loaded 06p so my friend refused straight away as it voids the warranty .

Dude! more info. Did u see the app? Did it open and edit MS Office docs?
Did it look like MS Office?
Did u see any change in the firmware?
