Looks like they've concentrated all their efforts on Z6 and V8 (BTW, they were quick to release the sources to these phones)
    ROKR Z6 (2BR firmware) + microSD 2GB

Must have realized its rather good than bad to allow the modders in their phones. But why Z6!!

They are working on releasing the Z6 and V8 code on time, then they will get back to the code for the E6. I'll be one of the first to know (I'm a memeber of the project but @ the bottom of the totem pole.) I'll put it up here the second it's released
I'm so cool, I had the E6 before the E2 launched! Wait. Never mind...

I dont blame them for taking the Z6 and V8 first, since they have all the spotlight

ok, i'm not a programmer type kinda guy, but my question is what exactly goes into releasing the kernel? i mean isn't it just code? why do they have to"prep" it for realease? basically, what i'm asking is what goes into releasing a kernel that would seem to be a "delay" or something of that nature to us normal tech junkies out here waiting for the next fix?

Basically, they want to 'scrub' it down, work out kinks, etc. They just don't want to provide the temp man power to release the source. The kernel source is just what it is: source which means a ton of files.
