GPRS connection on ROKR e6 + How to use on computer

If I have a gprs connection on ROKR e6, can I connect the phone to computer and connect the computer to internet ?

MPT = motorola phone tools.. but i didn't know you could use the GPRS internet connection for your PC...that is very interesting.

try this ;
- open yer directory phone
- find setup
- click on usb mode
- choose usb as a modem
- close it
- connect yer phone to pc using usb 2.0
- if the driver of yer moto doesnt exist it will ask for the driver
- insert yer MPT cd..it should contains any driver for yer phone
- once the driver installed you could establish a conn to inet using yer pc..

But is the PC the provider of the internet to the phone or the phone to the PC?

ummm...im on hutch in india...so wot i have to do is ask the provider to gimme the connection settings to create an access point on the comp...then all i have to do is just connect the phone to the pc in modem mode,type in user name and password (if required) and im done

I did it via MPT.. it gives internet to your PC via your phone...

I have media Net unlimited with Cingular... will this service be charged separately or is part of the same internet i use on my phone?

im not sur about your settings nor your network provider...out here in india we (at least i) have to pay separate for gprs on the phone and for internet connectivity via the pc

Supposedly so does ATT...

but...it made a connection through the GPRS... i would have thought it was another service that provides to the computer....
