How do I find out if EDGE is active on my ROKR E6 ?

The specs of ROKR E6 says that it supports EDGE. I have a GPRS connection with my Airtel service provider, but I find loading of pages quiet slow on ROKR E6. It certainly does not look like 384 kbps ( typical claimed EDGE speed ).

It could be slow from network itself, but I need to confirm if EDGE is active on my Phone. Can someone tell me how can I do that ?

Where the G (GPRS) used to be on your top bar, there should now be an E.
