Help! Crazy USB problems.

Ok,you know when you connect the rokr Through the USB onto the comp,you get a ding kinda sound,telling that it must be recognised on the My Computer screen? And another ding once you disconnect?

Well what is increasingly happening to me is that the Rokr Connects with a Ding,and Instantly disconnects with another ding sound,without even me disconnecting the cable.
But at the same time if i try and press on Setup,it says "In USB mode cannot open application".

Does anybody else have a problem with this? Or is it my System and Not the Rokr?

you cant go setup while your in usb mode

prob. a crappy cable, try a diff USB port as well

That, or your USB connector is messed up. I hope that's not it.

no his/her usb cable is fine!... its called you didnt install the drivers correctly!

check your device manager in your control panel on ur computer

USB Storage doesn't need drivers, and it should start charging either how.

uh yes it does! you have to install the motorola phone driver!

this is what you should do right click on the "My Computer" icon go down and click properties then goto the "Hardware" tab then click the "Device Manager" button then go down the list and right click on all yellow exclamation marks (!) and uninstall them all

after you do this unplug the phone from the computer than go here sign up and download the self installing drivers and install them after you install the "self installing drivers" plug the phone in and let your computer do everything! it will install all the drivers and the last message you chould see is your new hardware is installed and ready for use!

The thing is it has worked properly many times before,half hour after starting this topic it worked fine.
I have installed all the things in the CD i got as well.
