HELP: MicroSD w/ Adapter for E6???

I just bought a fairly new slight used E6 Rokr and it came with the MicroSD with Adapter. Where on the phone can I locate the MicroSD??? How do I know if it reads???

File Manager -> Memory Card

You can check if it has found the card by tapping the bar that has the battery indicator/signal indicator, etc. as well. It'll get you into a settings menu, at the bottom you can check the memory card status.
I've found that the E6 is a little picky about combinations of adapters and microSD cards, I tried 3 different adapters before it would consistently recognize the card.

That means it's not "seeing" the card. Try a different adapter. I'm using a Sandisk adapter now, it seems better than the generic Chinese one that came with mine.

What brand MicroSD do you have? Just get a 2GB Sandisk MicroSD. That will work.

Should I do something to the card? add music?

Try to add music, see what happens. The phone isn't going to pop anything up really like windows does.

I reformatted: did not work.


However, when I first popped in the SDcard it stated "Memory card inserted" but it is not in file manager or status bar. It states "unavailable"

This is becoming a nightmare, I bought it for 290 as is from a local store. They would not take it back....
