99% of flash time? Why not 100%? To verify that it is infact the phone, flash to a different f/w. If it still occurs, then it cannot be the phone. Try this: Go into Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Click 'Device Manager'. Now plug in the phone and see what happens. If it there are any devices that pop up w/ a 'yellow' exclamation mark or icon, right click on it/them and choose uninstall. It will prompt you as to whether you want to remove the device or not, choose yes, unplug, plug back in. It should work. NOTE: To get USB Lan mode working on this phone, once, I had to do this 5-6 times before success. Perhaps the same issue is occurring w/ your mobile.
I'm so cool, I had the E6 before the E2 launched! Wait. Never mind...

I had this problem when I connected my phone to the comp the first time. It kept connecting and disconnecting. I just changed my port to one in the backpane instead of the monitor and it got fixed.

It did the same thing again when I was at a friend's place though. Maybe the ROKR is picky about cable/port quality.

When I flashed it I got to the final part (99%) where you are supposed manually turn on your phone so it can complete the proccess. We'll I just flashed it again and I came accross the same issue, but this time when I got it to complete the proccess at 100% by switching my phone to flash mode. The usb function on my phone only works when I am in the flash mode.
I tried to check the device manager, but the computer doesn't even recognize it, so it is like nothing is even plugged in. I can't figure out why this would happen all of the sudden when it worked just fine before.

I tried about 12 different usb ports on 4 computers, and I've tried 5 different ubs cables, I can't figure it out.

So overall the usb function on my phone only works when I am in the flash mode, also I am still able to charge my phone with the AC adapter. The only time it is not working is if I plug it into my computer for the usb mode (modem, mass storage, web cam). Man this is frusterating, is there anyway I can troubleshoot this with settings or codes? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

u don't really need to connect to the comp, all u need is a SD card reader to transfer files.

Yea good point, I could do that for file transfers, but I really wanted to connect to Radiocomm so I can install EDGE, Quadband, & Voicemail Bug Script.
