Text message rings in vibrate mode

Hi,
I currently have the R533_G_11.12.09P firmware.
When I get a text message it still emits a ringing sound even when in Vibrate mode. Is there any way to modify it so that it only vibrates?

i guess your phone makes the sound only when it is connected to the PC.i think thats normal

So try to see if the sound comes when the phone is not attached to the comp....If it still does so in vibrate mode...then over to the more seasoned guys....that aint my domain...best of luck
