Unusable with SIM

I recently purchased an E6 on Ebay, and when I received it I flashed from unbranded .06p to Ahman's .08p. The phone worked fine, but I decided to flash to unbranded after a few weeks .09p. I assumed it would be more stable as it was newer. The phone worked perfectly for about a week. I started having problems when I received a text message and could not reply to it. I was able to write a reply, but upon pressing send or attempting to save the reply to a draft nothing would occur. I took out the battery/sim and waited a few minutes then tried again, but I had the same issue. I did a master reset and now the phone is unusable. When it is turned on I cannot load my contacts list at all, and everything else is sluggish. After a minute or so the screen dims, an hourglass appears, and the phone becomes unresponsive and proceeds to restart. However, if I remove the sim card all is well.

I'm planning on flashing to Ahman's again, but do not have access to a windows computer at the moment. Any suggestions as to what could be occuring?

Edit: The problems began on my first night on a vacation to New York (I reside in California). Also, my provider is AT&T.

since you have tried master reset and master clear
you must now try flashing

just wondering but were did u down load the .09P firmware from i thought .08P was the latest unbrnded firmware?
