No, it won't kill your battery as Moto ROKR E6 uses a lithium ion battery. You can charge, recharge, drain, not drain, and over charge your battery without worries.
Hi all! Is there any way to disable charging via USB when my E6 is connected to my pc ? I would like to transfer my media files to SD card without charging. I guess when I put the usb cable to phone to transfer files and disconnect without full charge, and reconnect again to transfer more files, and disconnect, this process will reduce lifetime of my battery. Is that correct
Thanks ! Sorry about my english !

uhm I'm not so shure about that man I think it does put a strain on the battery b/c I remember on my DS battery there was a label that said good for 500 charges and that's a 1600mah Li Ion I suggest you just get an SD card reader man -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...184812282+4024

Treikens is absolutely right, it does eventually kill your battery. You will see after one year of use. Lithium batteries can only withhold a limited amount of discharge, recharge cycles.
Edit: I forgot to answer your question. There is no way to disable the charging but I'm working on finding a seem edit for it, so hold tight![]()
