In my case, POP3 running fine (I use Yahoo and Gmail).

ya same here , I had to set a slightly diffrent Internet 'account' for my Email .

For example instead of connecting to wap.fido.ca I would connect to internet.fido.ca

call your sevice provider or try google , its your friend

I'm also having the same problem and getting the host unknown error. I ran a google search and found these settings for my gmail which seemed ok at first glance, but they're not working:

    Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSLop.gmail.com
    Use SSL: Yes
    Port: 995

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS:smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
    Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
    Port: 465 or 587
Account Name: your Gmail username (including @gmail.com)
Email Address: your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)
    Password: your Gmail password

Some services don't like SSL. If you are battling to connect, odds are that you are trying to use an SSL link.

Hunt around at your ISP or eMail provider for non-SSL settings and try those.

SSL does work on the ROKR but sometimes there are clashes with service providers.

I managed to get both Yahoo and gMail working but I did need to hunt around their help sites for non-SSL settings.

Give this a try and let us know how things progress.

I found this on the web (im not the author) but i cant prove yet.

    1. Set up forwarding from gmail to another non-SSL POP3 account (e.g. gmail @yourdomain.com")

    2. Set up a new POP3 email account using your gmail address as email address

    3. Set up your non-SSL server on the incoming side

    4. Set up the outgoing side according to Google (SSL, port 465 or 587, etc...)

    5. Voila! You will now receive your incoming emails to your m600i and all outgoing messages, replies etc will have the correct from-address and will be sent via Gmail and end up in the Gmail sent mail box.

someone can tellme wich @domain dont use SSL?

Hope this can help us .
