Browsing problems

Got the E6 recently and it is the best phone ever! But, I'm having problems with the browser. When trying to access Wikipedia pages from the Wikipedia home page, the connection just stalls forever and won't connect. If I try and google a particular topic to find its exact wikipedia address it will also not connect. I think it might have something to do with the proxies that wikipedia uses. Anyway around this or a way to set up the browser so it can deal with this? I can't bear to think that I couldn't access wikipedia from my e6.

The second problem is that when i try to access my hotmail account, it starts to load up the login page and then kicks to an error page that says Javascript required. Is there a way to fix this problem? Thanks to all knowledgeable Motofans!!

not sure about hotmail, but Wikipedia was one of the first sites I tried and its been working well...

I find that disconcerting. I don't know what could be hanging up wikipedia. However, I should have mentioned that that i have enabled edge and quadband and am on cingular. I haven't upgraded firmware yet, but will do so soon. Should I maybe try installing opera mini?

Wikipedia works fine for me as well. And for hotmail sign in through mobile.msn.com if you aren't already.

If you can't get wikipedia to work you may want to try Widsets which can be downloaded at www.widsets.com . I haven't used the program yet but it's supposed to work with wikipedia.
