ive heard that 4GB Trancend and PQ1 cards work fine even with usb
Is it true that you can use more then a 2 gig SD card?
From what i have heard you can use more then 2, its just that if you do you cannot transfer files in/out of it while connected usb to the phone, you have to take the card out and put it into a card reader
Im pretty sure thats the case, but what i am really asking is if that is the only issue with using a bigger one? Cuz if thats the only problem it causes.. thats not that much of a hassle, i have a card reader and i wouldnt mind using it if i could use like a 6 or 8 gb card
Can anyone please tell me if what i mentioned above was correct and if thart is the only ONLY problem when using a bigger card

hi
i'm using 4gb trancsend card and have exactly the limitation described above: pc does not see the card when i plug the phone to it. apart from that it works fine. talking of 6 or 8gb cards, i think you can only get sdhc cards of those sizes. as far as i'm aware e6 doesn't support sdhc cards.
there is a topic on it in this forum, just look through the pages and you'll find it. only certain 4gb cards work. no sdhc cards work...yet When the actual source code(kernel) for the phone is released, then we will know for sure of what we are dealing with. And if sdhc is enabled when the source code is realeased we can potentially look forward to up to 32gb sd storage. Thats a little down the road though.
