Activated WAP but unable to connect to internet using pc

hi all,
I had activated WAP on my mobile but I am unable to connect to my computer and browse the net.Could u plz help me in this issue.

WAP access is different from GPRS access .
You need GPRS access to use your phone as a modem and connect to the internet via your pc .
WAP access will not help .

Check with your service provider if you've got a GPRS and Data service to access the internet.
