It's nothing new, my friend....
Viruses have been known to attack OS phones for ages... Not Linux, so don't worry abt that..

You'll find a lot of antivirus softwares for Symbian phones if you try searching..

actually there are a number of virii and hence antivirus apps around for symbian phones. I heard of one for windows mobile once, I haven't heard of monta vista being attacked as of yet. but you never can be too careful.

if you go to download .com they have tons of anutivius for mobile wiondos and so on. but not linux. no one cares that why lol

No, it's not because no one cares.. The open source softwares are really cared for by the open source communities...

The reason is that nobody makes viruses for linux.

Another great benefit with our phones... Plus the hardware is so hard to deal with in general that the hacker would really need to know the SDK and all the kernal files. So we are safe.

Uhmm.. I don't think so..
I believe the viruses are in fact created by the bored people in the open source community who just hate Windows and are trying to get more people to use linux...
