    Default FM radio on loudspeaker...?

    Why doesn't the FM radio open up without the headphones plugged in??

    Can somebody tell me how to remove this restriction?

    The really stupid thing is, once it's opened you can put it through to the loudspeaker from the menu.....!

    Thanks in advance,

    I think all mobile device use the same way for this matter, they have to use the earphone because they also use those cable for antenna receiver ( CMIIW )

    It doesn't make sense...! Then why do they give an option in the menu to turn it on to loudspeaker?

    These are the contents of ezx_fmradio.cfg from
    \ezx_user\download\appwrite\setup

    [FLEX]
    BandLimitHigh = 108000
    BandLimitLow = 87500
    Deemphasis = 50
    DefaultInjection = 0
    HCC = 1
    MinFreqSeperation = 100
    SNC = 1
    SearchStopLevel = 13
    Softmute = 1
    TotalStations = 30
    [SETTINGS]
    ByLoudSpeaker = 0
    CurrentChannelIndex = 0
    CurrentFreq = 89100
    ForceMono = 0
    TuneMode = 0
    Volume = 3
    Do you think it'll help if I change the setting ByLoudSpeaker = 0 to '1'?

    Someone with more knowledge please tell me, as I am afraid to make any changes directly..

    Thanks in advance,
    JaX

    I don't think you got my question correctly pal..

    I am asking about playing the music from the radio on the loudspeaker.....

    BTW, is the phone using the headset as antenna??? Because when you remove the headset while it's playing on loudspeaker, it plays only static and the radio closes down!!

    @JaX: If you set that option to '1' it sets it to LoudSpeaker by default, the earphone is still needed, but will go through LoudSpeaker by default when you open the FM Radio App.
    I'm so cool, I had the E6 before the E2 launched! Wait. Never mind...
