FM radio on loudspeaker...?

We must have the headset plugged in to active FM. When the headset is plugged in, it will connect 2 peace of metal inside the hole. Then it becomes an antena.

so can you not just put a small jack in the hole so it will stick out a lil out of hte phone.. and then it can function as a antenna...
if this will work you dont need to have the headset and you only got a small jacket plugged out of the phone.

Actually this is not correct.. I did a bit of googling and came up with the info that the antenna needs to be around 75 cms to be any good for frequency modulated radio waves..

well i dont know i think im gonna try just to play around a bit with the jacks and see how i can get good radio signal with ass less as possible hanging out of the phone...ill post something up if i find some
