Canadian E6 users i need help!!!!

i recently got an E6 got the quadband/edge working no problem and loaded up the iskin and everything has been great. Everything is loaded and tested and so on!!

BUT

I CANT RECEIVE CALLS FROM A BELL LANDLINE! WTF is anyone else having this problem?? i can get calls from anyone else and do everything else with the phone but receive calls from my home! [/b]

well mines been working great with the QUAD BAND and EDGE script.
Maybe you might have to flash your phone or reset it.
what firmware are you running?

Im new to all this how do i find out what firmware i have??

R533G11.11.04p which i have recently found out is old.

i got a newer firmware and im gonna flash my phone once it charges.

you need to call you service provider and tell them to TURN OFF name display (not call display)..the ROKR isnt capable of displaying the name and numbers of ppl NOT in your phonebook so thats why your not getting calls.

trust me it will work no mater what firmware u have..do some searching..the answers are all over the place.

If you wanna find out what Firmware your phone is currently on just dail WWW008W on the dial pad. To get the Ws just press the menu button and then INSERT WAIT.
And i used AH MAN's firmware for mine.

Is there any other way to fix this problem??? I can't get rogers to turn off name display because its a part of the special 20$ communicate package.
Any firmware upgrade or seem edit to make this work?

I believe i have the same $20 bundle and they did it no problem for me. I would call again.

Because from what i have read in this forum and others you have to upgrade your phone to quadband/edge and then have rogers take off the name display.
