    Default Newbie, NEEDS HELP QUICK

Hi, I'm new to the forum and i am looking for a new phone. I am with cingular and am very interested in the rokr e6. i wanted to get some feed back on problems i may run into by using the script to make this a quadband edge phone. also, any other common problems with using this phone on cingular. i just sold my blackberry pearl and i am without a phone so i am sort of in a rush to replace it. thanks
i used to own a razr and did alot of modding so i am somewhat familiar with modding and i am anxious to learn more.

I'm using an E6 on Cingular and it works fine. I've done the Edge and Quadband SEEM edits. You'll want to do the Voicemail bug (^@ text messages after you check vmail) and the Network Time SEEM edits too, though I think there's a script around here for all of them. If you're used to the reception/signal that you used to get with your V3, then the E6 will feel like an improvement.

I'm using the stock .08 firmware and have not experienced any problems with calls, MEdia Net, or SMS/MMS. Hope that answered your questions.
