Battery life problems

the first couple weeks when i had my rokr the battery life was real long! i could last for like almost a week without charging the phone.
I updated the firmware and the battery life is so bad right now every day i have to recharge my phone for it to work... the battery goes real fast down...
i have my backlight at 45%.

anyone has the same problem or got some tips?

maybe to let the battery die and recharge it full again or some?

What was your FW before and is after update

before i dont know to be honest... after i have the e608p_hybrid_ahman_v1l..

before i just had the regular 08 i think.

maybe you try this ,its not specific for any firmware but a general procedure
discharge the battery completely
remove battery
wait for a little while - 20 to 30 mins
reinsert battery
charge completely
discharge again,but dont remove battery this time
charge completely
repeat this for a few times without removing battery
this procedure may take a few days so keep using the phone

post results if you have any improvement or otherwise

1. Turn Bluetooth on and use (or not...upto you) BT headset is you have.
2. Listen to lost of radio and Music - just keep 'em coming.
3. turn on GPRS even if you don't have it.
