Telnet problem with ROKR E6

Hello All,

I have successfully connected to my ROKR E6 using telnet. I wanted to copy some files in to \usr\data_resource\skin folder. but I am getting access denied. I think it is something to do with permission. From the command prompt Telnet got connected but it never asked me for the user id or password. Even I typed "root" in the command prompt. I am trying to copy files from MyComputer(\\192.168.16.2\system) to the phone. I am struggling with this since long. Anybody can help me ??

i m not very fond of telnet so i use samba for these thing on my a1200..
try it..

for samba...
put ur phone in usb net mode. .open "my computer" write :
\\IP\system\ <--- enter
eg: \\192.16.16.2\system\

ur ip can be different...

.

the E6 doesnt let us modify or add files to the phone , you canonly download these files thru samba or telnet .
