E6 08P firmware mod with Voice Recognition

Awesome monster pack... installed without a problem and enjoying the new features. I have a couple of questions. The Screen3 setup is fixed in this firmware. How can I change it? I am currently using Cingular in States and still get news from India (along with the wonderful bollywood posters )). I tried the " others" setting but there is no way to edit it....
My second question is regarding "moto sync". Is there any hybrid firmware out there that can get me exhange sync on Rokr... I need this for push email. Thanks for your help

I just can't win. For some reason this firmware will not let me connect to radiocomm with USB modemall I get is a blue dot, but I can get a green dot if I change to USB Net, but it can not read seems from the phone... Any help would be cool.

Try using hyperterminal. It should work easy.

Is it worth updating to this? I mean, If i mess it up and i brick the phone, I won't be getting another one anytime soon and would suck! so is there ways to get around a bricked phone? I want to be very cautious wile doing this, the first time i did it, RSD lite said failed but when I turned on my phone the FW was updated correctly. So is there ways to fixed bricked phones? if so what are they ways to do this? reflashing?

Ok, I remember seeing something about hyperterminal, but not what to do

Load up hyperTermial using windows.

Then contact your phone using modem mode. Connect it to the pc, and make sure you select the proper COMM port your phone is connected to on your computer. Next once you select the right COMM it will open a window. Type AT to make sure it works. If it works it will say OK. Now type ATMODE=13 it will then load motonet which is the usbnet.

It will then load up a new driver in which you need to install. Once you finished load up radiocomm and you light should be about purple or pink. That means its working.

No dice, it does the same thing when I change the USB mode to USB Net. the dot turns green but the little box on the start bar turns yellow and if I try to reed the seems to edit the quadband all I get is a bunch of red. It did the same thing after I replaced CG34 of the new E6E firmware with the one from the 08P to get rid of all the China Mobile crap. Only way to get radiocomm to see my phone was to flash to just sraight E6E 02P or 08P. Radiocomm would instantly recognize the USB modem.


PS. the "Design by RocketTheme - November 2005 JWTC" tag that is put right in the middle of the text input box really makes it hard to go back and edit mistakes...

Try doing a master reset/ or master clear.

Dang, still no go with the master reset.... Looks like I am going to have to flash to unbranded 08P again....
