Modding detail

base on R533_G_11.12.09P Thai-English firmware.

-New Lamborghini bootimage.
-Lamborghini splash screen.
-default skin is now Lamborghini
-Startup sound is Lamborghini Engine.
-Lamborghini wallpapers.
-Thai language Quick text.
-Intregated ringtones from A1200/E6.

-USB Net mode

-Threesearch truetype font support many many language.
-Translate User1 to Toys and User2 to Applications.

-Addressbook now display in thumbnail.
-Bluetooth device name is Lamborghini-Gallardo.
-presetting 3 mailbox gamil, mailmoto (www.mailmoto.com webmail for motorola user from Motorola Thailand), and yahoo.co.th
-Opera bookmarks ThaiLinuxPDA.com, E680.pantown.com and MotorolaFans.com
-4 shortcuts editable.
-adjust default font size for A1200 to the same as E6.
-change Application menu category from 7 to 9 (All, Office, Multimedia, Extra, Games, ...)

-can use SD that have 1-4 FAT partition.
-Startup .lin script when power on phone.
-easy font switching.
-change to USBNet mode by echo at+mode=13 command. (for recovery from phone freezed).
-more samba mounting point.
-Add loop.o, ext2.o, ext3.o modules.
-Add 2 Application menu categories Favorite and Utilities.

User Manual for Lamborghini firmware

USBNet
1. Set USB mode to USB net in Setting.
2. Plug usb cable to phone and pc.
3. PC can access phone by telnet command or 192.168.16.2System in Windows Explorer. (IP from Motorola Handset Driver)

Change phone USB mode by command
1. plug data cable to phone and pc.

2. type echo at+mode=13 > com5 in command prompt. when com5 is a com port of motorola modem.

3. after this you can telnet or use Window explorer to access files in phone.

This feature is usefull for Theme maker or for recovery phone from theme-freezed.


Presetting Email
Gmail use
User : yourmail@gmail.com
Pass : yourpassword

Mailmoto use
User : yourmail@mailmoto.com
Pass : yourpassword

and yahoo.co.th use
User : yourmail
Pass : yourpassword

All 3 mailbox are presetting can be use alter input email account and password.

Multi-Partition SD
Lamborghini firmware support 4 partitions SD card. in A1200 all partition in card will change to USB Storage but in E6 only 1st partition can done.

Windows XP + Card Reader and read only 1st partition on SD. But Linux can read all partition with the same Card Reader. LOL

Limitation of multipartition-SD
1. 2-4 partition must not be and extended partition.
2. after use USB Storage. phone need to restart to get access to 2-4 partition.
3. all partition must be FAT.

PS. I'll try to make support for Multipartition SD better than this in the next version.

Startup Script
can run startup scripts by put a *.lin into folder "startup" in flash memory and/or in card.script in flash memory 'll executed first in order of it 's name and later scripts in mmc 'll executed.

Font Switch
can be switch font by put AMCSL.TTF and fontdef.cfg into folder "fonts" in flash memory (/ezxlocal/download/mystuff/fonts) or Card (/mmc/mmca1/fonts) and restart phone. and delete or move both file and restart phone to change back to normal phone font.

Samba Mounting Points
more mounting point for Windows explorer to access files via telnet.

192.168.16.2User for /ezx_user
192.168.16.2mmc1 to 1st partition on card /mmc/mmca1
..
192.168.16.2mmc4 to 4th partition on card /mmc/mmca4

This firmware have Thai-English.

Multi Java does not include in this f/w. I didn't test it before. BUT plan to do it with start up script.

did you use multi-java before? do all running-java appear in task manager? with my lin script any firmware can run multi-java but all of then does not appear in task manager.

I never use another track before so cannot compare about speed.

Music ID is worked on some songs . I hardly listen an english song.

EDGE need to mod by RadioComm.

yes, all java running appear at task manager on 81.07 F/W. how multi java can run with startup script?

I 'll checking this problem and provide solution soon. . Before I post this I flashed it on my phone. everything are fine.

I redirect kvm from /usr/SYSjava/ to mmc by mount --bind and create a wrapper kvm to call system kvm with &. & is mean running app in background. I can run many java but all of then disappear from Task Manager. LOL
