BEFORE installing this F/w back up the whole content of your SD card . and format it (after installation you will be able to put everything back in it .. )

Changes by DAGr8:

Translated syslink , and Display names .
Replaced MPKG , ekonsole and 'Power' Programs by English versions . ( Credits to the authors)
Replaced Xcap with CKC by Imahottguy
Replaced 4th Skin with Dag's Silver Skin .
Replaced Wallpaper to match boot screen
Replaced a few ringtones (default is Break yo neck )
Boot screen and Intro = ROKrE6
no boot up sound
Screen 3 translated and workin ( arrows missing again lol)

***** swap application and Myfont application need heavy translation

To use Myfont application click on the icon then always choose the left box .
this will create a folder in your mmc called autorun/myfont . just drop any filed called myfont.ttf in it .
( every time you will boot a Chinese msg will be displayed to remind you it will use your custom fonts) .
If you dont wanna use fonts just empty the /myfont/ folder

I modified CKC so it will save it's *.cfg in autorun folder instead of the root of the SD , so please run Myfont first to make sure the Folder exist (not mandatory)

Syslink mounts Mytheme and System folder in my favorites and allow you to modify them via telnet .
( I havent tested in depths )

For more information on the Original f/w by Asmotoe2 there is suppose to me a manual , but I cant find if someone has it please post .

Some of the nice features of this f/w are :

_ the ability to access phone in usb mass storage when using swap
_ 4 default skins instead of 3
_ the ability to load a skin installer that will let you switch between numerous skins via the normal menu , ( I am currently workin on translating it , if you wanna help please pm me .)

how skin installer works :

extract to your sd card .

run the 主题面板.lin file choose the left button to turn it on

when turned on you get a msg in chinese when you boot up the phone

to change skin just do it the normal way thru the settings of the phone .

Also please note it is better to turn it off before plugging your phone in MASS Storage mode

run the 主题面板.lin file choose the right button to turn it off . ( if turned off your custom skin wont work ) and then reboot (mandatory)

I added all the original wallpapers for each skins I could find if you have those I dont please send them to me so I can add them

Update* Tried it and keeping it ! thx, btw how did u install your theme? I made a new folder default5, renamed the skin files to default5.skn and MACAU_05.pksn, and install the iROKe6.lin and reboot. Now i can switch iROK theme to your theme without uninstalling it. I havn't tried the skin loader yet

lol, most of what you said is chinese to me DAGr8!

It sounds real good, I'm going to wait a bit before flashing because it takes a whole day with me, including reinstalling MPT which I have to do every time to get it to see the phone again after flashing for some reason.

One question...is the camera as good as the last firmware?

one of my tester says it isnt , but technicly this f/w is based on 07p so I dont see why it wouldnt be as good .. I dont use camera much so I wouldnt be able to tell the diff

What i noticed is that if the camera is not jerking at all the pictures do come out fine but still very grainy than before now that is on normal mode.... it does get better if u use direct sun but you will notice that all pictures are grainey and slightly pixalated.

I posed this question to DAGr8 but since he barely uses the phone camera he would not be able to tell diffrence.

I hope you find a solution for the camera [pics/video] ... but in all this f/w is amazing even thought there is still 25% left to be translated which i am really waiting to try out but so far i'm amazed by this f/w as its only using 37% of resources :O shocking hey!!! the phone is blazing fast.

I hope ppl can help DAGr8 translate the rest of the 25%...

DAG's 07p camera takes great pics in any light with me, even indoors and at night ...and all on the default day setting.
of course it's not as good as my real camera but great for snapshots when needed.
I would be reluctant to reflash to another firmware if it's not as good.

yea I feel you , reason I dont care is 2mp camera isnt worth it at all fo rme . I have a 1yr old kid and pictures of him are worth a lot to me therefore nothing under 5mp ...

I wil look into modding the f/w to provide better camera tho Imahottguy seems already on it . I will do some testing .

I can't seem to get Skins to work, i run 主题面板.lin pressed the left button. A chinese box came out with 2 box to select, first is chinese, 2nd is NO. I reset the phone and no changes.

*EDIT* NVM, i got it... SmartAssistant dosn't work with this.
