its been while i was off from motos, and back to E6 after a pretty while from e398>>se k750>>w810>>e6....and back to modding straight

Thx u,DAGR8,i had reflash ur firmware E6e_07P_DAG_final.its very fast,stable.no hang until now.i like the splash animation too.but i dont like the ringtones in this firmware.and about theme Dagr silver.its very clean themes,but i dont like the background 0 0 0, i edit to 255 255 255 to make ur theme looks like original theme in E680i.but for me,ur firmware is the best firmware for this present.hope u can make firmware with good video recording too.thx u.

Hello everybody.
I flashed my E6 with DAGr8 soft which is much better than my previous one (R533_G_11.10.54R). But I have one problem and I don't know if it's connected with new soft or no.
I can't use my E6 as a GPRS/EDGE modem using wvdial. Every time I try to connect to the net i receive

--> The PPP daemon has died: A modem hung up the phone (exit code = 16)

APN and phone number are correct (I checked with my SE w300i).
So is there anyone who use E6 with DAGr8 soft as a modem?

hey guys sorry again, can someone pls tell me is any one else facing issues with EDGE once flashing with this f/ware?
i am having severe disruptions on this as it keeps getting disconnected, at times it wont even connect.
i have tried my sim card on other phone (samsung d900) and my gprs works fine on their so its not a network issue either.
i ahve also ran alpha script and it was all successfully done but i am still having connection issues.

please guide me on this yaar. i want this resolved.
i dont want to reflash with the same f/w as i have installed lot of things on my phone as u can see in my signature lol

Most of what you've installed is on the memory card and wont get affected with a reflash. The firmware you've used is China localized might have issues in India. ON top of an edge based OS if you used Alphas script as well you might encounter a few issues as the flex bits are different and that would cause an inconsistency(possibly) as the firmware as edge enabled at the start. I suggest you use an Indian based OS such as R533.12.08p or 06p or 10p with Alphas script
