edit the following files /.system/java/CardRegistry add the following:

also, how do i remove an icon from the Main Menu if I don't want the app anymore? I want to get rid of the A1200 ZMPlayey

Hi BBQ...sorry for being a noob...but slightly confused...

You say extract 'zmplayer_E6.rar'. But the file attached in the post is not the same?

Or do I just copy the .pkg file onto the folder specified above?

Also do I need to use a specific program to edit the Cardregistry file?

Please advise.

That is abit confusing I did exactly as told and ended up with a weird ICON
(exclamation point, tho I am using the windowsvista skin) and nothing would play so I simply instaled the zmplayer with mpkg and now its workin fine ,
to get rid of taht 'weird' icon I had to re-edit the CardRegistry

Everything is workin fine , so I dotn see the point of having it complicated like that specialy if its not workin .. just my 2 cents .

In my sd card, there is just 1 file :
/.system/java/.RegistryFileCard.dat.
Plz help, how can i install this software for E6 ?

Just install mpkg to your phone and load the pkg file you got in this thread with it .. no need to edit your registry , I dont know why he has it that complicated ... imo this thread should be deleted to avoid confusion ....
you can get the mpkg app in the A1200 forum

i agree with the above, i downloaded part 1&2 of zmplayer in this thread. mpkg is installed on my phone. Are part 1&2 of zmplayer both the same file when unpacked. I installed part 1 using mpkg and zmplayer is installed, but acts all weird. What formats does it support? I'm using AAC+ for audio and rm for video.
