Default APP: Java Voice Recorder ported from E398

Heres the Dictaphone ported from the E398. I have'nt tested it in calls and stuff, but it works for normal recording.

Installation:
Install the jar application provided
Edit the Registry using Java Hacker by dedraks or the manual way of editing the registry. If you have used dedraks java hacker go to the permission of the java app by clicking on it for a long time then Manage-Permissions and set to never ask for all parameters even though it has already been set otherwise it wont recognise that the parmaeters have been changed.

Usage:
Open the application and goto Parameters in the menu and for the storage leave phone memory blank and the Trans Flash as /mmc/mmca1/Recordings/

Record whatever you require and enjoy
Attached Files
File Type: zip Dictaphone.zip (42.0 KB, 883 views)

For me I've done the same as you've mentioned above, but everytime I click on record in the menu, it gives an error that the 'player has closed'. Have you faced the same.

I believe this can record calls automatically once connected. If you set the call answer option to automatic @ 10 seconds, this application will start recording the call almost immediately.

A great use could be to use it as an Answering Machine. The only hitch is "Welcome Message" missing. If someone can include that, it can be a great app everyone looking forward to.

Does this app has the ability to pause recording? The only thing the built in sound recorder lacks is the ability to pause recording, I think.

I think the built in one has a disadvantage that there is a strange sound during the record.
