Default APP: HideFolder V1.3(HPF) UPDATED

I've password protected the Hide folder application and it has a option to change the password by the user. HideFolder has been renamed to HPF
Steps of use:
1. Install the HPF.pkg
2. Click on HideFolder application and a dialog pops up saying wheather you have a Personal folder installed or not, if its not installed it'll create the personal directory in the /mmc/mmca1
3. Then a dialog pops up asking if you want to enter the password, if you say "Yes" it'll open a notepad screen where you need to enter the password, the password for the first time which is "1234"
4. Save the notepad file and exit notepad.
5. If the password is right it will notify you and take you to the Hide/Uhide screen where you can hide or unhide the folder or change the password

Note: The Personal folder can be unhidden by using ekonsole without a password, the password basically protects the app itself.

Future Releases:

Will incorporate a user defined hide folder
will try to incorporate multiple hide flolders
Compression of PersonalDocuments folder along with chmod to deny access to the file

Good work - only suggestion is to change name that appears on menu so that if someone gets hold of phone they will not suspect what this app does. [A similar app is called "huh" (=hide/unhide!)]. Maybe call your "CleanFolders" - which would disguise what it does??

Also did you see there is a similar app to yours called HideFolders at http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?p=256660 for the Motorola E2. I installed it on my A1200 - but could not get it working - but it might give you some development ideas!

Thank you all for your suggestions. I will put most of them into practise in the next few releases.
Nope it wont be seen in the real player list.

Akshay

Default Need to have a password entry screen

Works great for my E6 but need to make the GUI simpler
For eg

1. Have a password entry screeen rather than notepad
2. Enable user defined password (you're working on it)
3. Enable defining hidden folder name

@Bedy6: Sorry, but no. However, when I get some time, I can port it. OR you could too. Just look at the code. It calls the showQ binary, i believe the equivalent for e680i is ezxdialog? Or something like that.

@Aksd: I'll help you dev this if you want. I already see a way to add user defined password to this app. When I get some time here (I'm working 12hr shift for the next 4 days maybe.) I will definitely play with it. lol we are going to make it kinda funny but still it will work. BTW: Great work mate!
