Are you trying the latest version? The one with the new icon? The older one v1.3b was saving the password to the HideFolder, so as soon as you uninstalled it then it would'nt work. Try the latest one. The problem has been fixed. Sorry about the inconvenience.

EDIT: Replace the HPF folder in the .system/QTDownLoad/ with this folder, it should work. Sorry again about the inconvenience

Hello!

I have an inquiry, is it possible to have the app "unhide" the folder as well? That way, we don't have to use telnet/ekonsole to unhide the contents of the folder... Also, I'm having the same issue, even after installing the latest file posted...

Thanks a bunch for this app again!

Another suggestion for next release:

Hide/unhide a custom folder, not only the personal folder on mmc root..

I am extremely sorry for the problem. I am currently out of town with no internet nearby, have a new version ready, the old one didnt work because notepad corrupts the setpwd file, and the way notepad corrupts the file is unique to every phone. I had compensated for this problem on mine, to avoid this the new release will ask you to set password the first time you run it. There are also two types of hiding in the new release. The program feels more complete. I again apologise for the delay.

Hello Everybody!

I'm just curious, before use the software and hide folders, what command will I need to type on ekonsole to make the folder appear again? Sorry, I'm very new to linux and am just studying the bash commands, and I'm still not able to find the right command/syntax to unhide folder... Thanks!
