INFO: Volume Hack for E6

Hello Everyone,

After the really long delay, its finally here.. But it still has alot to improve on so i promise to constantly update it and fix it. Also i will make sure we get a superior version via a pkg program very soon.

So basically there is good news and bad news.

The Good - The hack works 100%

The Bad - For some reason it lowered the volume instead of raising it.. Reason is unknown but can you guys confirm that it indeed got lowered?


As i mentioned before i will be working on this constantly, but i wanted to give you guys something instead of leaving you with the long delays. Also as a sidenote, a universal version is on the works as well so please bare with me.



Alright so lets get to it!

Instructions :

Simple put both files in your memory card, then open up the cfg file and save it using notes from the phone. Then simply reboot the phone and your done.

I want to thank dagr8 for helping me with this. He provided me with the alternative method, so i will use it to improve and add personal touches. Many thanks again!

Another great hack from Alpha!!. I also am unsure of what this does but can only speculate it raises the volume

Its a hack to raise the volume higher then stock. Do me a favor send me all the original values via notepad. I want to examine them again.

Alright people..
please read a little bit more before asking and spamming this threat full.
Read the other topic with the volume mod and you will find out!.

But this hack is made to INCREASE the volume on the e6.
Once again like Alpha said this is only a BETA version.
it works 100% only Alpha is making some slide adjustments to make it even better.
So everyone feel free to install it and give respond on this great hack by Alpha!

Like alpha said it is possbile that it is decreasing the volume...
so he need to modify the code a little bit so it will increase thnx for the reply

Exactly, please read my whole post before any comments. The point of me releasing the beta is for "US" to work on it as a whole. I will improve on it but i wanted to get something out for the E6 community.


Someone please send me the original CFG located in the phone.
