I can connect a evente handler to a button.
I can read the contents of a QLineEdit.

After a lot of hard work I can make native qt apps run on ming.

If you want to view the app runing on your own MING, download the provided file, unzip it to memory card and run with the following commands:
You can drag the window with stylus.Code:. /home/native/.profile ./teste3

widgets as in what? Like RSS Feed to the homescreen? (Not necessarily an RSS feed, but the idea of something on the homescreen that performs a small function)
