the video player floating around this site, like ezxplayer, xmplayer, etc based on mplayer. but i wonder the way mplayer decode flv, via libavcodec or via win32 dll. If its via win32 dll then the chances are low (its binary x86).

Maybe the developer can maximize the mplayer functions, it good player. Support lot codecs, and demuxers (its should able to play avi, mkv, ogm, wmv, mpg ... etc).

Just took a peek on mplayer site, flv coded in sorensen h.263, mplayer decoded it via libavcodec.

Guess we have to wait for the devs to compiled mplayer with best options for our ezx phones.

why develop a player to play .flv flash video files when we have a player for to play these files already?

USE the ePlayer for playing .flv flash videos (youtube or similar ones) without converting them!

the .flv files should be in the 320x240 res.. i tried them to play just yesterday and it did work(sound and video) with the ePlayer!

1. copy the flv files to the mem card
2. tap on a flv file, hold it and choose "open with" and choose the ePlayer
3. play, watch it and have FUN.
