Thread: Motorola Drivers (32 & 64 bit) - OFFICIAL MOTO USBNET

  1. #21

Default Telnet with Moto Drivers for Win (32bit and 64bit, v262)

    Help!

I can't telnet to my A780. What I did so far: installed on A780...

    - linloader
    - neo_c
    - mpkg
    - sysinfo-0.1-beta2

    and on PC...
    - Motorola Drivers_32bit_and_64bit_v262_20070203
(changed in motousbnet.inf PID according to my A780(PID: 604c) )
    - assigned IPs with usblan_ifconfig.exe

Looks like IPs are assigend correct:

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection 3:

    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
    Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Motorola USB Networking Driver #2
    Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-01-AF-00-01-80
    DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
    IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.178.3
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

    IP of A780 is 192.168.178.4

I can ping my A780, but if I try to "telnet 192.168.178.4" I get the message:
"Verbindungsaufbau zu 192.168.178.4...Es konnte keine Verbindung mit dem Host hergestellt werden, auf Port 23: Verbindung fehlgeschlagen"
in English more or less like:
"connecting to 192.168.178.4...couldn't connct to host, on port 23: connection failure"

BTW: win xp sp2-firewall and 3rd-party firewall are disabled and
typing in telnet open \\192.168.16.2\system doesn't work.

Did I forget s.th.? What is wrong? Any ideas??
    1000 thx

Using this you can set the IP address your PC will use. The phone will assume the next IP address. The default, is 192.168.16.1 for PC and 192.168.16.2 for phone.

Try disable dhcp for motorola interfaces (be careful, select only motorola network interfaces) and fix a ip address.

my e680i it's working perfect with this drivers ...
Can you copy files from your VISTA system to your E680x ? I can browse, read and even delete files on my phone when connected as USBNET mode. But cannot copy files from VISTA to my E680I
    I love windflowers...
