Hi All,
I have just purchased a new A1200 after reading all the info from here. Thanks a lot guys.I have to say I am very happy and chuffed at the phone.Its awesome!!!
After a quick play with the phone I didn't like 2 things. I tried to search but I could not find it on the forum.Hope some one can explain to me.

1) The joystick on MENU Screen, when i push it down... it highlights the icon and goes side to side(instead of going down) then as it reaches the 3rd icon on the right goes down 1 level. When i push the joystick sideways it goes--user 2,user 1,games....etc.Basically it doesn't function like a true 5 way joystick? Is there someway I can change this to make it highlight like my V3i/pebl? Or am i really daft and missing something?

2) Messaging.....can I input the message from a normal phone dialing keypad.......other than the handwriting/pinyin/english keypad option?basically I just want to use 1 hand to message.Very important while driving(just kidding).
