also you can buy a cheap real e680 and flash it to e680i so you can do, what you can do with a real e680i.

If I were to choose a Moto linux phone right now, I would get the e680i or e680g (doesn't matter) and flash it

If I could wait longer, then I will wait until Moto releases a e680-like phone (and hope we can still have access to the linux core) with a nvidia video processing chip installed and _fully_ utilized (unlike the razr v3x)

Moto e700 -like e680/i with linux, 320x240re touchscreen but with Wlan, 3G + video calling, min. 2Mp cam, a VGA connector for an external monitor, BT keyboard/mouse, 2000mA battery... its one dream-phone i want...

That's my dream phone too...MOTO E700 with 700Mhz Processor.
