freezing a1200 maybe dev will help me out:)

Hello m8's
the problem - phone freezes. Touching screen -> only reaction is turning screen on. When phone freezes, only thing on screen is last screen before freezing (i mean by that, that phone still reacts for touching screen, showing me last "working" screen)

It happends only when i use battery. When plugged into charger - works fine. Sometimes phone hangs after just 5..10 sec from last touch, and somtimes after 1h.

2 days ago when i was making theme (non stop plugin/unplugin phone, rebooting it etc) suddenly i realized , that it worked ok! Whole night worked ok and then whole day, till night when i started to finish my theme. So after instaling and plug/unplug phone again - it started to freez again I mean - when i didnt do with phone anything (didnt change any options in phone - didnt rebooting it) it worked fine.

now my question is - from system point of view, what could make this hangs? This one day and one night of proper working, gave me clue, that it can work fine, only when some settings or sth are in proper configuration. I tryed most of possibilities to "recover" state when phone was working, but till now - without succes.
If anyone have any ideas...i would be thankfull

nope i even tryed to go back to that version on witch phone was working well - still nothing. This is very strange for me - system halts, but turning on screen works:/ is there any dumpfile or sth there infos about crash are stored?

Little idea...Is there any process or sth that i could start when turning on the phone, that will keep busy procesor everty time screen turn's off? I noticed that when i work on phone on batt it works ok - never hangs in middle of my work. So i figured out, that keeping processor busy could be a "software" solution.

may be it's from
1. u installed theme when ezxlocal is nearly full. and u use this uncomplete installation theme. so phone 'll try to read a uncomplete file in theme. so it's hang

2. u use a miss configulation in pskn file. when restart phone 'll hang. this 'll display miss skin or miss icons before restart.

to correct this is
1. telnet into phone and reset it's theme to default 1, restart and delete all installed themes.

or

2. flash it. if u cannpt telnet in to phone.

Hmm, i didnt realized that my post are so "unclear"
There is no problem with theme - and yes, i tryed every normal way (flashed 44, 46, 48, 53 - same problem on each fw). I know to how to handle with themes so dont worry about them. I just mentioned "themes" cause my phone suddenly started to work like it should, while i was in middle of creating theme - so in 2..3 h i plugged/unplugged phone many times, turn him on and off etc. After finishing work - phone didnt restarted for whole night and day. Next night i came back to finishing theme - again on/off plug/unplug and in the middle of my work i realized that phone started to freezes again. That's whole story
I'm asking for help to find logical anwser for question - why it freezes. Clues:
- phone work fine on cable
- phone hangs only when on batt, and when not working on it - untill i do sth on phone, and screen stays on - works fine. After phone going to idle mode - hanging may happend (sometimes 5 sec later, sometimes 30min later, but it is not working more than 1h non stop.
- hangs/freezes means, that only solution is take batt out and putt it back, only then i can start phone again.
- when phone is freezed - turning on/off screen works (i close flip - off, i open it - on)


Uh, I hope that is clear and will let you anwser my question
