I know I sound like a broken record, but what about AAC+?

With a little free time,
- still hard debugging for reduce memory usage.
- try to improve code fragment and fixed app raised seg. fault when quitting sometime.
- seperate call detected code to new thread of the app, work fines to receive incoming call but no sound to talking on dial-out sometimes.
- No any improvement or fix on WinSkinMOD.

I think, now the xmms engine would be run smoother than the old.
but on running with Equalizer still take a CPU load to high.

About AAC/AAC+ it can play with the xmms-mp4 work with libfaad but it take a CPU load to very very high although not using EQ (I see always 313 BogoMIPS)...
@blackhawk: is this the one of any reasons that let you switch to coding on RockBox ?
I'd tried to coding AAC/AAC+ plugin with the Helix (Real) Player's AAC datatype..
But no luck, with Intel IPP 5.0.X it can support old AAC/AAC+ only, it can not decode the AAC in MP4 container (m4a) which easiest to convert to with Apple iTunes.

Not have a much time..
This is the "E6/A1200 xmms engine binary update only - 12/03" in the attachment.

• Ready to play all MP3 since the old engine have skipped some files .. Hey @PaulF, Bob Dylan can sing to me on my E6 already and sure .. Metallica had opened concert with the album "..And Justice for All" to me on my E6 already too.
• As i said, seperated call detector to the new thread, can receive an incoming call but can not call out on somtime.
• A little improve EQ (with MAD macro function), test it sound with yourself it may better or worst.
• Support dithering (manual config in config file with "[MAD]" section with config line "mad_dither_on=true"
• Improve any threading and method on quitting for reduce seg fault, and for make sure the playlist was saved.

Please extract file in the ZIP to replace files of my old package in .system/QTDownLoad/exmms folder on SD card.

For tomorrow i'll going home at the north eastern of thailand till next week, no chance to coding while i staying at my home.

It works great! Even Bob Dylan's voice sounds good.... nah.

The lastest version works GREAT!! fast & perfect.

Bugs detected:
In the about MENU, the word "Copyright" shows "Coyright" (written mistake) jeee

Suggestions for future versions:
1) It will be great to have bluetooth support (it is still the only advantage of Realplayer..)
2) Maybe it is possible to add lyrics support (similar to the chinese Xiuang666 version that uses the official XMMS.org)
3) It will be great to maximize the screen (Full Screen option)
4) Hope you could include some DJs effect (screen bars or electronic equalizer, similar to a car stereo screen) The PC version has it.
5) More Codecs support
