Default App: SecureDrive - Create your own password protected drive

Ok, here is my next application (many more to come )

I have tested this only on A780. I have no idea about other models.

    < snip from README >

    ========== SecureDrive v 1.0 - by Gerald Naveen A ==================================

what is it: (do you want to read the disclaimer first? )
SecureDrive provides you a new drive in your mobile (A780),
which can be password protected. So you can mount it "only" if the correct
password is given. The beauty is that, all the contents in the new drive
are encrypted with the password you give during the installation time, so
it is "not" possible to decrypt the content at all. On the other hand, you
cannot change your password once you set it - Yes it seems to be a bottleneck,
but this limitation is by its design.

I am providing drives of 3 different sizes (5MB, 10MB, 20MB). You can choose
which one suites you the best.

    Installation procedure:
    1. Install gerald_secdrv.mpkg
    2. Download one of drive files I have given (target_XXm.dmp*) based on your
    choice.
    3. copy the dump file to the installation area (.../QTDownLoad/gerald_secdrv)
    4. gunzip the dump file and rename it target.dmp
People who do not have gunzip on ur phone, can unzip it on ur computer
and copy it to the installation area. (but it would take a while).

    Configuring SecureDrive:
    1. Click on SecureDrive icon and start the application
    2. If you have successfully installed the dump file, you should
see "Install SecureDrive.." option in the menu.
    3. Click on it.
3a. Give the password that is to be used for encrypting the new drive
and remember it. NOTE THAT THE PASSWORD CANNOT BE CHANGED LATER. I would
suggest to have atleast 8 characters for password.
3b. Click ok. Based on the size of the dump file, this will take a while
(for me, it takes around 30 secs for 5MB, 1-1.5mins for 10MB). The phone
will look unresponsive at this time. Please wait patiently for sometime, until
you get a messagebox with "Success".

    Mounting SecureDrive:
Everytime(after reboot of ur phone), you need to use ur secure drive, u need to mount it.
The secure drive will be mounted always in /diska/securedrv. Click on "Mount SecureDrive"
and enter the correct password. If mount it successful, you will see a file "welcome.txt"
in /diska/securedrv folder. You can now access ur drive at /diska/securedrv, using any
    application, just like anyother folder.

    Unmounting SecureDrive:
If you are done using ur drive, and want to eject, Just click on "Unmount SecureDrive"
    menu item.

    IMPORTANT POINTS:
    * If you are installing a SecureDrive, you need space atleast twice the size of your new
drive. This space is used during the installation, while encrypting the whole disk. So
if you are installing a 5MB drive, u need atleast 10+MB of space in the installation
partition. I WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMEND TO INSTALL IN THE TRANSFLASH CARD NOT ON YOUR PHONE.
    * Password once set, can never be changed.
    * Keep passwords sufficiently long enough to be safe.
    * Do not depend only on this disk for any data. Have a backup of the stuff you store in
this drive or store stuff which u can loose (if at all if happens).
    * File named "target" in the installation folder is the whole secure drive disk.
You can even gzip it, and back it up if you store important data. If lost, you can
later over write this file with the backed up one.

IF YOU REALLY NEED TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD:
Although obvious, I think it is still worth mentioning. You can copy the files
temporarily to other folders and configure a new SecureDrive, and then copy them back.

    Enjoy!

If you want to protect a textfile you can also use FileAtor, supporting 256Bit Encyption, but a whole drive is also a good idea
    Nice job Gerald!

oops! just now realized that I had packed a wrong version of binary in the mpkg. Were you guys able to create new files onto your new drive? I had fixed this, but looks like I packed it wrong. I am not able to create files using the installer i've put here. Anyways, I will update with a new package shortly. But Im surprised if it works for you guys

Fixed problem in writing new files on to the drive.

Use this one. The dump files remain the same.
