i think i found a bug/feature:
if i start a GPRS connection (i.e. download mails) before starting your app, it is possible that GPRS and vibe&ring can live in harmony.

Do you mean you are using the version of gerald_vibe which had problem with GPRS? Because in a later version, I moved this to "sending SMS", which has issue. So that we will have to switch off my app, before sending a SMS.

In case you are using the earlier one, may be that works like you say i would say it is a coincidental feature (not a bug ) Basically, when I read thru a device that is required by GPRS, GPRS craps out. In this case, maybe it is working somehow.

Oh, yes. It is a very early version. It has the GPRS blocking included.
But now, with this hack it is working without any blocking.
And i can send and recieve SMS.(as before)
Maybe this will help you for an update

i have to restart this procedure every day.
i think it is because a disconnect to GPRS from my provider at 24hours.

this version is for A780.
it will not work on E680i.
