    Default writing special midlets

I would like to write midlets that access Info-SMS or bluetooth or other internal things.
Unfortunately, this is only allowed for signed midlets. But signing has to be done by motorola and is very complicated.

Is there a way to use the command line (telnet) to flag the midlet as signed or give it the access to the special APIs?

did you try to replace permfile.txt with one from preload Java games. this will take your midlet full permission. and try to use old SDK It's contain more feature like File access.

I was ask Motocoder.com about phonebook class. the answer is only NDA (Non Disclosure agreement) will receive detail about it. search old thread about phonebook class xml780 was create unofficial one that can work on A780.

You can find the supported API's in the developerguide or on many pages in the i-net: http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=590

Some other functionality can be used with the com.motorola-API's. You can find these informations also in the i-net. just search for them. To access the filesystem you can use the classes in the motorola SDK 4.3 (if I remember right). Or the wrapper-classes of LibAtor.

Hum I think it is not permfile.txt

I have no preloaded java games or apps or I deleted them. So I have no permfile.txt to copy.
