hardwiring from cpu to usb port

Is it possible to connect the cpu to the phone's usb port by soldering wires
thus extending the usb host's connectivity?
If so, which connectors?
(and yes, I understand the compatibility issues)
...just don't want to kill my phone so soon.

No, and only because you're wanting the wrong chip. I think.

You would want to solder to the USB controller chip, not the CPU.

Second, yes, soldering directly to that would work, however within some caveats. The traces/wires would have to be of specific guage to fall within bandwidth guidelines, but yes, you could in theory add more to the USB bus, so long as power is available.

What's on your mind? You have a perfectly good USB port available, and powered USB hubs are out there...

USB Host Controller IS in the CPU numbski . It is a feature of Intel's chip.
