No, and only because you're wanting the wrong chip. I think.
You would want to solder to the USB controller chip, not the CPU.
Second, yes, soldering directly to that would work, however within some caveats. The traces/wires would have to be of specific guage to fall within bandwidth guidelines, but yes, you could in theory add more to the USB bus, so long as power is available.
What's on your mind? You have a perfectly good USB port available, and powered USB hubs are out there...
