This is so great for our developers and all people working on motorola linux phone apps.

I hope this means the developers will have an easier time developing, upgrading, and releasing.

And that we'll be able to upgrade our phones even more easily.

    also...
since there's the source for the sd-mmc device drivers, does that mean that maybe our dev's will be able to develop wi-fi for the e680/i/g?
    that would so rock...

well, we already have reports of a 4GB card working, so what I want now is wi-fi and bluetooth keyboards ^_^
that in conjunction with opie would let me do school stuff at the university without the need to pay an hourly rate to use the comps there and would avoid the cost of a laptop (since I so can't afford one =p)

Couldn' find a download link, but at the very bottom of the page, this is what it said:

    Announcing e680/a780 downloads! - A780 - E680
We are happy to announce the availability of e680/a780 source code for direct download. No more asking for source and then waiting for CD's in the mail. Download now!

This basically lead to the same page - a loop.

Guess they'll release it in some days, eh?
